September Newsletter
Dear Parents, The vast majority of children have settled into their new classes and are getting used to new routines. Many have found familiar friends again, others are making new friends and in the playground in particular, they are having lots of fun. We are looking forward to an exciting year, and working in partnership with you. Below are some useful dates for you of events coming up, as well as some opportunities within our local community. As always, we are here to support you and your child. We now have a Family Support Worker who can also help you out with any wider issues effecting your family so please ask if you think we may be able to help. With regards, Ms Gita |

Parent & Toddler
The Parent Toddler Group is running every Thursday afternoon, from 1.15pm to 3.00pm with Mrs Navsariwala and Mrs Nathani at only £1.00 per session. Mums and Dads are welcome to come along with babies and toddlers, to meet other parents, and to help the children develop their social skills. It is a great opportunity to talk about any issues or concerns you may have about your little one, and also a chance for your child to experience different activities you may not be able to provide at home.

School Photography Day The school photographer will be in school on Tuesday 29th October. All children will be able to have their individual photo taken as well as photos with brothers and sisters that are in school, which you can later purchase. Please ensure children are looking smart in their school uniform. If you do not wish for your child to have their photo taken please inform the class teacher.

Fully Funded Courses for Parents
The government (ESFA - Education Skills Funding Agency) have provided funding in our school's area, please see below. These courses are aimed to support parents and carers who are looking to get back into work, by offering them an opportunity for them to gain the necessary skills for free. The timings will suit you if you are responsible for school drop off and pick ups.
