Shenton Primary School serves an International community. Our children speak over 20 different languages and we pride ourselves on helping every child develop as a happy, confident and aspiring learner.
The school curriculum is designed to motivate and excite our children so that they enjoy coming to school, as well as provide them with the knowledge and skills to continue to be successful as they progress to secondary school. It encourages learning outside of the classroom through visits to places of interest, for
We are always striving to improve our partnership with parents, and this team effort contributes to our children making great progress. We provide a range of additional learning support programmes to meet different children's needs. This includes programmes for children who are learning English as a new language through to providing one-to-one tuition for children who may need additional learning support for whatever reason.
The children behave exceptionally well at Shenton, and they enjoy school. They are taught about different religions,
Our aim is always to ensure every child succeeds in achieving their very best.
This website will provide you with information about the school, as well as learning support links. All of these opportunities are provided for free for children who are entitled to the pupil premium grant.
If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions please come in and see us. Mrs Thakrar and Mrs Mistry can help you, they are in the school office and can speak a variety of community languages, as do many of the school staff. You can also speak to your class teacher, and if you need a translator we can make the necessary arrangements.
Together we can continue to ensure all the children at Shenton are safe, happy and learning.
