Early Years Science Week 2021
Children at Shenton Primary School are naturally curious. Science education activities provide children with opportunities to develop and practice many different skills and attributes. These include communication skills, collaborative skills, team working and perseverance. Developing science inquiry skills of observing, predicting, checking, recording and communicating can teach young children that it is acceptable to fail and that learning can come from making mistakes.
Science week is an exciting opportunity for your children to carry out new learning about learn about animals, plants and the environment.
Nursery:
One of the areas of learning that your children will be learning about is ‘Understanding the world- The world’. During Science week, your children have been looking at how things change over time and some things decay.
